Lewiston Adult Education classes are open to people ages 17 and older who are not enrolled in high school. A person does not have to live in Lewiston or Auburn to register.
Children cannot attend classes with their parents.
Lewiston Adult Education’s Three Sites

Our main office is located at Lewiston High School, 156 East Ave., Lewiston, Maine. During the construction of the new addition to the front of the high school that began in the fall of 2020, the main office has temporarily moved to Longley School on 145 Birch St. in Lewiston. That is the same location as the Adult Learning Center, which is listed below.

The ALC provides classes and testing for the HiSET exam, CASAS testing, citizenship classes, and English language lessons. It is on the left-hand side of the school building.

The B Street Community Center has the College Transition Program and has classes for a number of workforce programs.
