Patient Safety Attendant and Patient Service Representative Training Coming Soon

Lewiston Adult Education is offering a new Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) and Patient Service Representative (PSR) training this spring that will have no cost to eligible students!

Call now to complete your initial registration and assessment. Students who successfully complete the five-week program will be able to apply for jobs in the health care field with benefits. The average hourly wage for PSA and PSR positions is $16.

Mark your calendars for the orientation meeting set for Wednesday, April 20 at 10 a.m. at Longley School on 145 Birch St. in Lewiston. The event will include information about the jobs with good wages, benefits, and upward mobility with opportunities in Lewiston, Bridgton, and Rumford.

Collaborating partners will be available to answer questions.

Eastern Maine Development Corporation/Community Concepts, Inc. and the Central Western Maine Workforce Development Board are partnering with Lewiston Adult Education, Central Maine Health, and the CareerCenter on the training. The partners in the classes provide equal opportunity in employment and programs. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.
