People looking to build a foundation for a construction career can start in February with Lewiston Adult Education’s Construction Training Program.
Qualified students can earn a Work Ready credential, OSHA 10, RRP certification and learn all about workplace safety, hand and power tools, along with fractions and basic geometry. They will get work experience with local employers with opportunities for good-paying jobs following the completion of training.
To qualify, participants must: pass the CASAS test in reading and math, have the ability to work in the United States and successfully complete an eligibility screening. Participants should be able to pass an employer-sponsored drug screening.
